What is an 'Incestuous Relationship'? An 'Incestuous Relationship' is where someone having sexual activity to who are closelt related to you and not legally permitted to marry.
In this society, there are not many cases on incestuous relationship. But of course, there will surely be some. I think that people in this societ are mostly not being able to accept an incestuous relationship, as being married to someone bloof-related to you can be quite an embbarrasing thing. Adding to it, gossips will be spreaded around to your friends and relatives around you about the scandal that you caused.
If an incatuous relationship was to happen in my family, or around my relatives, i will surely to be ashamed of them. This is because i think that there are no reasons that they is to fall in love with each other, and if they are really desperate to get married or to have a date, they can go out in the society and make more friends! I think that people who got involved in an incestuous relationship because familt members will care and concern about each another when someone is in trouble and thus, leading them to the wrong thinking of them liking, or even loving each other. If this was to happen in my family, or around me, i will try to persuade them that they are only respecting the opposite sex, not liking her/him in a way of Boy-Girl- Relationship.
But We cannot be too sure about anything, anything can happen in this world of miracles. But if one happens to be involved in this relationship, he/she have to makes sure that he/she sorts out him/her feelings.
The breaking down of marriage is so common nowadays that it seems like A CHALLENGE and an ACHIEVEMENT when a marriage does not end.In fact, divorce has now become a NORM.
Divorce has now became a NORM because people now, are in a hurry to get married. They think that they are very deeply in love with each other and thinks that this is their true love. But after they are married, they will quarrel, mostly because of their living habits. They can't get along with each other, or give in to each other. This causes a divorce in the end. But why didn't they consider this point before they prepare to get married?
Why christopher's parents marriage broke down? I think the main reason is they both care for Christopher. As christopher is a child with Asperger's syndrome, he needs more care then other children. And when they both give extra special care to christopher, they forgot to understand each other feeling. And maybe, they will have often quarrels,which leads to divorce, because of christopher's safety and health.
Of course there are other causes of their broken marriage. Such as, Christopher's father hot-tempered and violent chracter. I think the father had used violence on the mother when he is angry. Maybe the mother cannot tolerate the violence and left him. Another cause is, the mother fell in love with another man, which is Mr Shears, and she left with him.
Another cause is their chracteristics. Both their characteristics are different from each other. And because of their different charcteristics, they can't get along with each other and can't agree on the same idea. This makes them difficult not to quarrel, when living in the same house, and both of them not giving in. And this causes a divorce.
My 10 Characteristics
1. Not talking to people that I don’t know / not familiar with. (un socialised)
This is because since secondary 2 , the cca that I am in , NPCC, the members have been ignoring me for some reasons. And so, I have always been very quiet every time when I am in NPCC. And now it has become a habit.
2. Not liking to drink banana milk
This is because there is a time when I am about 5 years old, I drank banana milk and I got diarrhea. Although it happened a long time ago, I still have this small phobia of drinking banana milk. From the particular day onwards, I will not drink banana milk unless there is no other choice. And most of the time I will consider for a long time before drinking it.
3. Not liking loud, sharp sounds.
At first, I didn’t know that I have this behavior problem. But there’s a time I went to the police academy with NPCC for the gun shooting. And the squad fall-in near the shooting area, and we did not have anything to cover our ear. When I heard the gun shooting sound, I kept moving my head, in order to reduce the sharp noise.
4. Not smiling in front of people that I hate.
This is one of the worst behavior problems that I have. I will not smile in front of the people that I really hate. Some people will pretend to smile in order not to let anyone know that they hate them. But I just can’t pretend. I tried before when I am in secondary 1, but it seems so fake!
5. Singing when I’m angry or confused.
Singing is a good way to relieve stress. When I am under a lot of pressure, I’m angry or confused, I will sing. If I am at home, I will sing as loud as possible. But if I am outside, I will sing loud if the people around me are those that I am familiar with. If not, I will hum the song out. There was once when I was in secondary 1, I was studying with my tuition mates, and I suddenly sang out loudly and they were all shocked of my suddenly singing!
6. Not liking to be alone.
I do not like to be alone. The feeling of being alone is terrible. The reason why I don’t like to be alone is, when I am walking in school or any place alone, I will always see everybody talking with their friends and it seems I am the only one alone in the school!
7. Not liking to look into people’s eyes.
I just discovered that I have this behavior problem not long ago. A few months ago, when I was talking to my friend, I feel that when she is talking, I will not look into her eyes. Sometimes, I wish to look into people’s eyes when they are talking, because it will be quite rude if you look somewhere else. I tried before but after a few seconds, I will look at the things behind my friend or around me.
8. Not liking to eat chicken meat which still has blood on it.
I do not like to eat chicken meat that has blood on it. I discovered it when I was in secondary 1. There was once during dinner time, my dad bought chicken rice for me. And when I saw that there was a little bit of cooked blood on the meat, I only ate the rice for dinner and I threw away the meat. Many people will ignore it and continue eating it, but I think that the blood is quite disgusting to eat.
9. Not having self-confidence when I am alone.
I discovered this when I am about primary 4, when I was waiting for my mum to fetch me after piano lessons or when I was waiting for her at the shopping mall, I will always lower my head down the be very quiet. Now, I still have this problem but not so serious. Sometimes, I still can go out alone, but not often.
10. Always judging a book by its cover.
Ever since I started buying story books by myself, every time I will look at its cover to judge whether the book is nice. A lot of people have this problem too. And I am also not very sure is this a behavior problem. I think so, because it is what I will always do. It is included in my behavior.
What do you think about the book and give your opinon about Christopher Boone?
I think the book is very funny and interesting. And it has alot of vulgar words in it, so it is not very suitable for small children to read. Sometimes when i am reading the book, i will think why Christopher is thinking like that. He is always very logical, and in the book, he explains every thing very specific and detailed. Christopher only tells the truth, so this is the reason why there are so many vulgarities in the book. Examples of such words that appeared in the book are, blo*dy h*ll and f*ck. The book is toking about Christopher Boone, he is 15 years old and he has Asperger's Syndrome. He goes to a school that teaches children like Chistopher, that has special needs. He hates brown and yellow, he hates people to come in physical contact with him, and he loves policemen. And one more thing that i am very curious about, he does not eat food if different sorts of food are touching each other. I think that such behaviour is very weird, maybe because i didn't have friends that has asperger's syndrome, so i do not understand what they are going through.He is also very good in maths and physics, and he uses the skills of these two subjects to solve some things that he saw on the television.
Both the 'Grandmother' And 'Grandfather' is talking about both the poet's love to their grandmother or grandfather. In my 'Grandfather', the poet in talking about his grandfather, how his grand father suffered in his life, while in 'grandmother', the grandmother spends a lot of time in the antique shop that she kept.
The language used in 'Grandmother' , it rhymes every 3 lines except for the third stanza which involves imagery as 'long narrow room' produce a image of a coffin, which means that the grandmother is going to die soon. In 'Grandfather', personification was used as the poet used the padi stalks to describe his grandfather. There is sadness in the tone of the poem. The background of the poet of 'Grandfather', he is from Asia. As a poet from Asia is most likely to write something about padi fields. And the poet of 'Grandmother' which comes from England will not write about it as she is not familiar with it.

I chose the poem because at first when i saw the title, Ozymandias, i think that it is very interesting. And i read the poem, i think that the poem was interesting and easy to understand too. The poem is talking about that someone meet a traveller from an antique land. The traveller told that person that the sculptor that was in his own hometown, the antique land. And how the traveller, himself feel when he lost his power as a king. I feel that the poem of this poem writes this poem very well. Because if u read this poem the first time, u will think that this poem is only talking about the sculptor only, but if u really understand the poem, u will feel the sadness as it lost in powbers as a king.
How others reacted to the poem? I have not present the poem to my class. So I don't know how will they feel. (=
The poem that I like the most out of the four poems is 'Epilogue to Death of a Hero'.
I think that 'Epilogue to Death of a Hero' is a very nice poem as it is talking about the soldier’s that fought in the Trojan war, their feelings eleven years after the war. It is talking about how they had suffered and how disappointed they were when the youngsters didn’t care about the war and treat it as a joke. I think that the youngster should treat it as a joke, if the eleven years ago, the soldiers did not fight in the Trojan war, they would not have freedom now. I think the youngsters should respect them and understand why they are always talking about how they suffered in the war.
Why the book of poems is entitled 'Calling of the Kindred '?The meaning of the word Kindred is a person who has the same opinions, feelings and interests as you . And 'Calling of Kindred' I think it means that calling all the people who loves poems and have the same interest in poems to come and read this book. I think that the person who complies all these poems and bind it as a book, likes poems very much and wanted others to share the joy of reading and understanding poems to everyone.
